Emirates and Condor sign codeshare agreement - Get updated on what's happening in tourism!

The new agreement will offer Emirates customers seamless flight connections and an expanded choice of connecting options on Condor flights via Germany to popular destinations such as Mallorca and the Canary Islands, as well as international destinations in North, Central and South America and the Caribbean.

As part of the expanded partnership, Condor will add its DE airline code to Emirates flights departing from Dubai to some of the world's most attractive tourist hotspots, offering new travel options for Condor customers to numerous destinations in the Middle East, Africa, Central Asia and the Indian subcontinent. The codeshare activation will coincide with the launch of Condor's route between Berlin and Dubai in October this year.

The agreement was signed by Adnan Kazim, Emirates Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer, and Peter Gerber, CEO of Condor, at the IATA Annual General Meeting in Dubai in the presence of senior management from both airlines.

"We are delighted to further expand our existing partnership with Condor, Germany's most popular leisure airline, to offer Condor customers more flight options and excellent connectivity to unique destinations in our network. Passengers will also enjoy Emirates' exceptional service and renowned on-board hospitality throughout their journey from Dubai. Emirates currently has commercial cooperation agreements with 161 interline, codeshare and intermodal partners, expanding our network to over 1,650 cities,” said Adnan Kazim.

"The new codeshare agreement with Condor underlines our strategy of creating significant added value for our customers through strong partnerships. For example, with the launch of Condor's daily flight between Berlin and Dubai from October, we will be offering a daily codeshare between the German capital and our hub.In addition, our more than 1.4 million Skywards members in Germany can earn Emirates miles on Condor flights and book Condor flights with Skywards miles,” adds Volker Greiner, Emirates Vice President North & Central Europe.

In November 2023, Emirates and Condor signed a reciprocal interline agreement. This provides passengers with improved flight connectivity on 70 routes operated by both airlines in Europe, Africa, Asia, Australasia and the Middle East with a single consistent ticket fare and baggage policy.Emirates and Condor also signed an agreement on the Emirates Skywards frequent flyer program.Flights can be booked online at www.emirates.de and www.condor.com, through online travel agencies and via all major GDSs in travel agencies.
