Delta has secured the No. 10 spot on Forbes’
second-annual Most Trusted Companies in America list, placing it among the 300
most trusted companies in the United States. The airline also finished as the top-ranked
carrier and No. 1 company in its sector.
“Congratulations to every member of the Delta team for
this outstanding honor,” said Delta CEO Ed Bastian. “Being named one of
America’s most trusted companies reflects the care and service our people
consistently deliver for our customers and the communities we serve. These
values have helped us reach 100 years and will carry us into our next century
of flight.”
Culture of care drives brand trust
Delta’s strong standing stems from its people, whose
daily work shapes the airline’s reputation for service, reliability and
hospitality. This culture of care anchors Delta’s status as the industry’s most
awarded airline and has been reinforced throughout its Centennial year.
In 2025 alone, Delta has earned multiple top
distinctions, including:
·
No. 11 on Fortune’s World’s Most Admired Companies list
·
Cirium’s Platinum Award for on-time performance and operational
excellence — for the third consecutive year
·
No. 2 on Forbes’ World’s Best Employers 2025 ranking
·
No. 1 employer in Georgia, Michigan and Utah in Forbes’ state-by-state
rankings
How Forbes measures trust
Forbes’ Most Trusted Companies in America list
evaluates more than 50 metrics across six key categories: employee sentiment,
customer sentiment, financial performance, business trajectory, media
perception, and workforce stability.
To
qualify, companies must:
·
be U.S.-headquartered
·
have more than 10,000 domestic
employees
·
operate in the private sector (government agencies, schools and
nonprofits are excluded)
Data for the ranking was sourced from partners
including Glassdoor, HundredX, Crunchbase, SignalAI, People Data Labs, and
Forbes itself. Category scores were calculated using detailed submetrics,
normalized and benchmarked by industry before being combined into a final trust
index.
Delta Air Lines ultimately earned the No. 10 position
overall, underscoring its longstanding commitment to trust, service and
reliability.
