The Queen Mary 2, Cunard’s legendary flagship, is once
again setting sail for style. The world’s only ocean liner departed New York on
October 31 for Southampton, hosting the first Transatlantic Fashion Week since
2019 – a one-of-a-kind event that transforms the Atlantic crossing into a
floating runway.
Fashion icon Christian Siriano headlines the voyage,
presenting two exclusive runway shows in the Queens Room and a personal Q&A
in the Royal Court Theatre. Siriano, whose creations have been worn by stars
such as Lady Gaga, Oprah Winfrey and Julia Roberts, brings his signature
elegance to the ship’s storied ballroom.
Adding to the glamour is legendary designer Bob Mackie,
celebrated for dressing icons including Cher, Diana Ross, Madonna and Miley
Cyrus. Guests can view a curated selection from his private archive – a rare
opportunity to explore the artistry behind some of fashion’s most iconic looks.
Supermodel and entrepreneur Coco Rocha also joins the
crossing, sharing insights from her two-decade career on over 100 magazine
covers and catwalks for fashion houses such as Chanel, Louis Vuitton, John
Galliano, Prada, Jean Paul Gaultier, Armani and Marc Jacobs.
Cunard’s Transatlantic Fashion Week embodies the
line’s long-standing link between travel and style – an elegant blend of
couture, conversation and ocean-liner tradition. The Queen Mary 2 is scheduled
to arrive in Southampton on November 7.
