Borg brings to Amadeus a wealth of international experience as a group chief financial officer, with an enviable 30-year track record of driving transformational change in some of the most innovative technology-led organisations in the world.
She is a proven expert at turning financial strategy and vision into action and is well-respected within the global financial community for her experience in managing complex organisations in international environments.
Borg has held senior finance roles in a variety of sectors throughout her extensive career, including energy, renewables, and defence.
Borg joins Amadeus following her last international executive role in QinetiQ Group, a FTSE250 multi-country defence and security company based in the UK, where she developed her professional career.
Responsible for all finance and governance activities, Borg oversaw consistent and profitable revenue growth supported also by acquisitions.
Prior to that, she was the chief financial officer at Lightsource bp Renewal Energy in the UK, a global market leader in the development, acquisition and long-term management of large-scale solar projects and smart energy solutions.
Borg oversaw the maturation and transformation of the finance and governance processes and capabilities which recently resulted in bp fully acquiring the organization.

Borg, who is a native of Australia, has previously lived and worked in four different countries including Spain, the UK, Denmark, and Australia.
She will be based in Madrid for this role reporting directly to Maroto.
