SmartRyde, one of Japan’s prominent providers of
pre-booked airport transfers, is joining forces with Amadeus to streamline
ground transportation bookings. Beginning this month, SmartRyde’s global
network of transfer services will become available directly through Amadeus
Transfers, allowing travel sellers to include door-to-door airport rides
seamlessly within their itineraries.
First rollout in Japan and South Korea
The partnership launches in Japan and South Korea,
where travel sellers will be the first to access SmartRyde services fully
integrated into the Amadeus booking flow. Travellers will benefit from
pre-arranged airport transfers booked before departure — reducing stress and
creating a smoother start and end to their journeys.
What
travellers gain
·
Access to reliable transfer options at 1,000+ airports worldwide
·
Upfront, transparent pricing
·
Simple booking via Amadeus Transfers
·
A more relaxed journey from home to airport, and from arrival gate to
hotel
Through the Amadeus Travel Platform, travel agents
will gain real-time availability, instant confirmation, and clear pricing
across SmartRyde’s service range – from standard vehicles to premium
chauffeur-driven options.
Voices from the partners
“This collaboration is designed with the traveler in
mind,” says Sota Kimura, CEO of SmartRyde. “Starting with Japan and South
Korea, we want to help travel agents offer a full-service experience — with
safe airport transfers in addition to flights and hotels.”
“At Amadeus, we are committed to making every part of
the travel journey as seamless as possible,” adds Peter Altmann, VP Mobility
and Travel Protection at Amadeus. “Integrating SmartRyde’s trusted transfer
services enables travel sellers to provide a truly end-to-end experience — from
leaving home to reaching their destination.”
The integration underscores Amadeus’ wider ambition:
connecting the travel ecosystem to offer travellers more choice, convenience
and peace of mind.
