Digital travel platform Agoda has launched a new
destination marketing campaign in partnership with the Taiwan Tourism
Administration (TTA) to further strengthen Taiwan’s position as one of Asia’s
leading travel destinations. Running from July through December 2026, the
campaign is designed to inspire travellers from Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan and
South Korea to choose Taiwan for their next trip.
By combining Agoda’s digital marketing capabilities
with the destination’s tourism strategy, the initiative aims to reach millions
of potential visitors at key stages of their travel planning and encourage
greater awareness of Taiwan’s diverse tourism experiences.
Focus on regional diversity and authentic experiences
The campaign showcases Taiwan’s varied regions, local
festivals and hospitality sector while highlighting the destination’s broad
range of travel experiences.
“This partnership with Agoda supports our mission to
showcase Taiwan’s diverse regions, local festivals, and quality hospitality
offerings to international travelers. Through this campaign, we hope more
travelers will discover Taiwan and be inspired to visit and experience the
beauty of Taiwan,” said Paul Shih, Singapore Office Director of the Taiwan
Tourism Administration.
Long-term partnership to support tourism growth
Agoda says the collaboration reflects a shared
commitment to driving sustainable tourism growth through data-driven
destination marketing and digital traveller engagement.
“We are proud to work with the Taiwan Tourism
Administration to leverage Agoda’s platform reach and digital marketing
capabilities to promote the destination to travelers in the region. The
campaign reflects our joint long-term commitment to supporting Taiwan’s tourism
growth by creating real value for travelers, the local tourism industry, and
the destination as a whole,” said Damien Pfirsch, Chief Commercial Officer at
Agoda.
Supporting responsible tourism
A key element of the partnership is the promotion of
responsible tourism and high-quality tourism services. By aligning Agoda’s
platform capabilities with the Taiwan Tourism Administration’s destination
priorities, the campaign aims to help travellers make well-informed travel
decisions while supporting local tourism businesses and encouraging sustainable
destination development.
The initiative also reinforces Agoda’s role as a
strategic partner for national tourism organisations seeking to expand their
international reach through targeted digital marketing campaigns.
