Marriott International has expanded its presence in
Türkiye with the opening of Fortuna of Cappadocia, Autograph Collection, a new
luxury hotel in the heart of Cappadocia. Located in the hilltop town of
Uçhisar, the property joins Autograph Collection Hotels, Marriott Bonvoy’s
portfolio of more than 300 independent hotels, each distinguished by its own
character and story. The opening brings a new hospitality experience to one of
Türkiye’s most celebrated cultural and natural landscapes.
A hotel inspired by the spirit of Cappadocia
Overlooking Cappadocia’s famous valleys, fairy
chimneys and ancient rock-carved settlements, the new hotel combines
contemporary architecture with design elements inspired by the region’s rich
history and cultural heritage.
The property features 125 guest rooms and suites,
complemented by 28 private villas that offer guests privacy while maintaining a
close connection to the surrounding landscape. Inspired by the Roman goddess
Fortuna, a symbol of fortune and destiny, the hotel has been conceived as a
destination where culture, local traditions and modern elegance come together.
“Fortuna of Cappadocia, Autograph Collection is a
wonderful addition to Autograph Collection Hotels. The property is set against
the backdrop of one of the world’s most storied landscapes and designed for
guests to truly connect to the unique destination,” said Sandra
Schulze-Potgieter, Vice President, Premium, Select & Midscale Brands,
Europe, Middle East & Africa, Marriott International. “From panoramic views
across fairy chimneys and valleys to thoughtfully crafted spaces that celebrate
local artistry, every detail invites guests into an immersive experience.”
Culinary experiences and vibrant social spaces
The hotel offers a diverse collection of dining and
entertainment venues designed to reflect the character of the destination.
Guests can enjoy all-day dining at Fortuna Table, cocktails at Le Dome, relaxed
moments in the Lobby Lounge, or panoramic views from the seasonal rooftop venue
Fortuna Terrace.
For a more exclusive experience, Le Privé combines a
private wine cellar with a cigar lounge, offering a curated selection of wines,
cognacs and premium cigars. The property also features Grand Cabaret, where
live performances by renowned artists are paired with an immersive
dinner-and-entertainment concept on selected evenings.
Wellness, events and business facilities
Fortuna of Cappadocia also caters to meetings,
celebrations and private events with the Fortuna Convention Hall, a flexible
venue designed to combine contemporary facilities with the unique atmosphere of
Cappadocia.
The hotel's Spa & Wellness Centre extends across
approximately 1,112 square metres and includes an indoor swimming pool, a
traditional Turkish hammam and a range of treatment rooms offering personalised
therapies and holistic wellness experiences.
Part of the Marriott Bonvoy portfolio
The hotel participates in the Marriott Bonvoy loyalty
programme, allowing members to earn and redeem points during their stay while
enjoying access to Marriott International's global network of hotels and
resorts.
With its combination of luxury accommodation,
destination-inspired design and extensive culinary and wellness facilities,
Fortuna of Cappadocia, Autograph Collection further strengthens Marriott
International's presence in Türkiye while adding a new upscale hospitality
option in one of the country's most iconic travel destinations.
