Radisson Hotel Group has officially opened the Radisson
Hotel Chateau de Bangkok, breathing new life into one of the Thai capital’s
most established hotel addresses. Located in the prestigious Ploen Chit
district, the property combines classic character with modern sophistication,
offering 178 rooms and suites, three dining venues and flexible event spaces.
A Classic Address Reimagined
For more than three decades, the Chateau de Bangkok
has been a familiar presence on Soi Ruamrudee. Relaunched under the Radisson
brand, the hotel has been carefully redesigned to meet the expectations of
today’s business and leisure travellers while preserving the timeless charm
that made it a city favourite.
Comfort and Location in the Heart of the City
The hotel’s spacious rooms and suites feature elegant
interiors and contemporary amenities, with many offering panoramic views of the
skyline of Bangkok. Suites with kitchenettes cater to long-stay guests, while
the hotel’s pet-friendly policy ensures an inclusive experience for travellers
with companions.
Tim Cordon, Chief Operating Officer, Middle East,
Africa and Southeast Asia Pacific, Radisson Hotel Group, said:
“Thailand is one of our key markets in Southeast Asia,
and we are delighted to strengthen our portfolio with the opening of Radisson
Hotel Chateau de Bangkok. This property has a special legacy in the city, and
its reintroduction under the Radisson brand reflects both our growth ambitions
and our commitment to creating memorable stays for our guests.”
Dining and Lifestyle Experiences
Guests can begin the day at Larder & Lounge, a
stylish café serving artisanal coffee and locally inspired bites. Château
Botanique offers a refined Thai-French fusion menu, while the View Pool Bar on
the 12th floor invites guests to enjoy handcrafted cocktails and light
refreshments alongside sweeping city views.
Wellness facilities are also located on the 12th
floor, including a fully equipped fitness centre, a tranquil spa room and an
outdoor swimming pool overlooking the city.
Meetings and Events
With three versatile venues, the hotel caters to a
wide range of corporate and social events. The Crystal Lotus Hall can host up
to 250 guests, complemented by the Ploenchit meeting room and the Ruamrudee
boardroom for smaller gatherings. All spaces are equipped with modern
audiovisual technology and supported by a dedicated events team.
Jean Pascal Bernet, General Manager of Radisson Hotel
Chateau de Bangkok, commented:
“We are thrilled to welcome guests back to the
Chateau, now as part of Radisson Hotel Group. Our team looks forward to
delivering the personalised service and warm hospitality this property has long
been known for, while offering a refreshed experience that reflects the energy
of modern Bangkok.”
Connectivity and City Discovery
The hotel is approximately 40 minutes from
Suvarnabhumi International Airport and 30 minutes from Don Mueang International
Airport. Its central location provides convenient access to major transport
links, shopping and dining districts, key business areas and diplomatic
offices. The BTS Skytrain Ploenchit station is just 400 metres away, placing
the city’s highlights within easy reach.
Opening Offer
To celebrate the opening, Radisson Rewards members can
enjoy double points on stays, complimentary early check-in and late check-out,
room upgrades subject to availability, and a THB 500 dining credit per stay.
