five new hotels signed in the past year and seven openings planned in 2025,
adding over 1,000 rooms, Radisson Hotel Group’s Italian portfolio has grown
from three to 20 properties in six years, advancing its goal of 30 hotels
signed and under development by 2027. The first of these 7 openings in 2025
will include Radisson Blu Hotel, Bergamo, Radisson Hotel Pisa, Radisson
Collection Hotel, San Gottardo Como, Radisson Blu Hotel, Florence and art’otel
Rome Piazza Sallustio, marking the brand’s debut in Italy.

Radisson
Collection Hotel, San Gottardo Como
In
the heart of Como, just a few steps from the renowned lake, the Radisson
Collection Hotel, San Gottardo Como will debut as a stunning five-star luxury
property in one of Italy’s premier leisure destinations, opening in September
2025. This marvelous hotel will offer 72 rooms, including exclusive suites with
breathtaking lake views. Guests will enjoy a stunning rooftop terrace, an
elegant restaurant and amenities including a tranquil garden and a gym. Set in
the city’s historic center, the Radisson Collection Hotel, San Gottardo Como
promises an exceptional retreat with unparalleled access to Como’s iconic
attractions.
art’otel
Rome Piazza Sallustio
Scheduled
to open between late 2024 and early 2025, art’otel Rome Piazza Sallustio will
mark the brand’s Italian debut in partnership with PPHE. The hotel, featuring
99 contemporary rooms and suites adorned with artworks by signature artist
Pietro Ruffo, offers a unique and immersive, art-led experience. It includes a
destination restaurant and bar, an art gallery with rotating exhibitions and an
exciting events program. Additional amenities include a fitness center, a
sauna, and a creative meeting room. The hotel's design and offerings emphasize
Rome's rich cultural heritage and aim to engage both locals and visitors.
Radisson
Blu Hotel, G.I. Rome
As
a key gateway city, Rome is central to Radisson Hotel Group’s expansion
strategy in Italy. Recently signed by the Group, Radisson Blu Hotel, G.I. Rome,
set to open between the vibrant Ostiense neighborhood and the bustling EUR
district, will address the area's need for upper-upscale international
accommodations. This modern property will offer 199 rooms and an array of
amenities, including three restaurants, a gym with a wide selection of
equipment and a spa for guests to relax and unwind. The hotel also offers a
sizeable meeting space. Designed to cater to both business and leisure
travelers, the Radisson Blu Hotel, G.I. Rome promises a comfortable experience
in one of the city’s most dynamic districts.
Radisson
Blu Hotel, Bergamo
Set
to open in December 2024, the Radisson Blu Hotel, Bergamo will be a cornerstone
of the innovative Chorus Life mixed-use complex. This modern upper-upscale
property features 107 elegantly designed rooms, ranging from standard to
deluxe, superior, junior suites and suites, some with private terraces. The
hotel’s contemporary design integrates seamlessly with the smart city model of
Chorus Life, which includes residences, retail spaces, wellness facilities, an
arena, dining outlets and extensive green areas.
Guests
will enjoy three distinct dining options, including a bar on the ground floor,
a breakfast area and a panoramic restaurant on the top floor. The hotel also
offers a versatile meeting space, divided into four rooms that can be converted
into larger venues. Additional amenities include a fully equipped fitness
center and spa. Strategically located near Milan, this hotel is poised to
enhance Radisson Hotel Group’s presence in Italy and offer an excellent guest
experience within the vibrant city of Bergamo.

Blu Hotel, Florence
Radisson
Blu Hotel, Florence, overlooking the San Miniato al Monte hillside, and just a
short drive from the city center, will introduce a new urban resort concept
tailored for families. The hotel will feature 329 rooms and suites, including
an extraordinary Presidential Suite. Guests can enjoy two restaurants, a bar, a
25-meter outdoor pool, tennis courts, and a gym. With meeting spaces spread
across 10 rooms, it is ideal for conferences and events. The hotel is
conveniently located near the Florence railway station as well as both Pisa and
Florence Peretola airports.

RED Naples
A
unique conversion of the former headquarters of Il Mattino, Southern Italy’s
most renowned newspaper, Radisson RED Naples will debut as the first Radisson
RED in Italy. Nestled near Naples’ stunning seafront and historic city center,
this vibrant hotel is set to elevate Radisson Hotel Group’s footprint in Italy.
It will embody the playful twist on the conventional spirit of the Radisson RED
brand, offering 150 stylish rooms, a selection of dining options, in addition
to a corporate meeting space for business guests and a panoramic roof terrace.
Radisson RED Naples also features a gym and spa so guests can prioritize
wellness away from home.

Hotel Pisa
Located
near the Tower of Pisa, Radisson Hotel Pisa will provide a modern urban resort
catering to both leisure and business travelers. Opening in HY2 2025, this
property will enhance the hotel’s offerings through a soft refurbishment,
aligning with Radisson Hotel’s upscale brand. With 128 stylish rooms, two
culinary venues, a modern meeting space and premium amenities including a pool,
gym and spa, Radisson Hotel Pisa will be a standout addition to the Group’s
expanding portfolio.
