American Express and ALL Accor are joining forces in a
new global partnership designed to offer members greater flexibility and
recognition throughout their journeys. Beginning in 2026, the cooperation will
be introduced in phases across 12 markets, allowing eligible American Express
Card Members to transfer Membership Rewards points to ALL Accor and match their
card status with selected tiers of Accor’s loyalty programme.
The partnership will cover Hong Kong, Australia,
Austria, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Singapore, the United
Kingdom and New Zealand. Members will gain access to benefits across Accor’s
portfolio of more than 45 hotel brands, including Raffles, Fairmont and
Sofitel.
Greater recognition throughout the travel experience
The agreement is intended to enhance the customer
journey from the initial booking and planning stages through to the hotel stay
itself. Eligible members will be able to receive additional recognition at
participating Accor properties while gaining more options for using their
accumulated rewards.
“Travel remains an important part of the lifestyle of
many of our Card Members in Asia, and we are increasingly seeking experiences
that are more personalised, rewarding and connected,” said Walter Liu, Head of
Asia Region at American Express.
“Together with Accor, we’re amplifying the value of
two trusted global brands by pairing meaningful recognition with greater
redemption flexibility to deliver elevated, end-to-end experiences for our Card
Members in Hong Kong and beyond.”
Kent Zhu, CEO of Greater China at Accor, added: “At
Accor, we are committed to creating richer and more personalised travel
experiences through our diverse brand portfolio and global hotel network.”
“Our partnership with American Express builds on the
strengths of both organisations to offer Hong Kong American Express Card
Members greater flexibility and more travel choices. Whether travelling for
business, leisure or discovering destinations around the world, members can
enjoy a wide range of hospitality, dining and lifestyle experiences across
Accor’s brands.”
Membership Rewards points can be transferred to ALL
Accor
Eligible American Express Card Members will receive a
new option for transferring Membership Rewards points into the ALL Accor
loyalty programme.
In Hong Kong, the conversion rate will be 25
Membership Rewards points for one ALL Accor Reward point. A minimum of 25,000
Membership Rewards points will be required for each transfer, with additional
points transferable in increments of 12,500.
Transferred points can be redeemed within the ALL
Accor programme for stays across Accor’s global hotel network as well as for
dining, experiences and offers provided by more than 110 programme partners.
The relevant terms and conditions of the loyalty programme will apply.
Platinum Card Members qualify for Gold status
The partnership will also introduce status matching
for eligible American Express Card Members. Their existing American Express
status can be matched with a corresponding tier in the ALL Accor loyalty
programme.
American Express Platinum Card Members will qualify
for ALL Accor Gold status. Benefits include complimentary Wi-Fi, welcome
amenities, late check-out, room upgrades subject to availability and additional
ALL Accor points.
The launch date for the status-matching benefit in
Hong Kong will be announced separately.
