Ahead of its sixtieth anniversary edition, taking
place from 3 to 5 March 2026 as a B2B-only event, ITB Berlin is once again
opening applications for the ITB Buyers Circle. Each year, 1,300 senior buyers
are selected to join this exclusive community, which brings together leading
decision-makers from leisure travel, business travel, MICE and travel
technology. The aim: to spark new partnerships, facilitate high-level business
and experience pioneering industry developments.
Under the banner “Exclusivity for your business”, the
ITB Buyers Circle stands for quality, trust and international diversity. Around
35% of members come from Germany, while 65% represent markets worldwide. Buyers
from more than 20 countries take part, including the UK, the Netherlands,
Spain, France, Italy, Switzerland, China, Sweden and the USA. Selection follows
strict criteria that reflect both the breadth of exhibitor offerings and the
strategic diversity of global markets. The result is a network that acts as a
catalyst for trends, cooperation and investment across the international
tourism landscape.
Exclusive access and benefits
Members enjoy entry to the ITB Buyers Circle Lounge at
the Palais am Funkturm – a quiet, elegant environment for focused work,
informal meetings or confidential conversations. Modern workspaces, high-speed
wi-fi and refreshments are available throughout the day. Additional privileges
include early access to the Berlin Exhibition Grounds as well as a fast lane
for quick entry to both ITB Berlin and the ITB Berlin Convention.
China is sponsoring the ITB Buyers Circle in 2026 for
the second consecutive year.
Inspiration for a tourism industry in transformation
The 2026 ITB Berlin Convention will take place under
the forward-looking theme “Leading tourism into balance.” Attendees can expect
thought-provoking dialogue with forward-thinking experts, bold ideas and
practical solutions addressing the future of global tourism. Members of the ITB
Buyers Circle also receive access to the newest studies, reports, white papers and
market insights, offering valuable guidance for strategic planning and
innovation.
A platform for global decision-makers
“In addition to the ITB Buyers Circle, each year ITB
Berlin attracts many other high-profile buyers from all areas of the tourism
industry. Even if not all of them belong to the ITB Buyers Circle, they are all
important decision-makers who use the trade show specifically for purchasing
and business discussions. It underscores ITB Berlin’s role as the main platform
for international dialogue, innovation and doing business,” said Gianna Nemitz,
Senior Product Manager, ITB Berlin, and responsible for the ITB Buyers Circle.
