Eurowings has secured a triple success at the German
Customer Award 2026. In the latest consumer ranking conducted by the German
Society for Consumer Studies, the Lufthansa Group’s value airline achieved
first place in all three evaluated categories: customer satisfaction, customer
service and value for money. Among discount airlines, Eurowings clearly leads
the field.
Leading positions across all categories
The German Customer Award examines which companies
enjoy the highest levels of customer satisfaction, deliver the best service
experiences and offer convincing value in relation to price. The current
ranking is based on 589,000 customer reviews spanning 259 industries.
Eurowings’ top positions in all three categories reflect consistently positive
customer perceptions across its core performance areas.
Value airline strategy confirmed
The triple award highlights Eurowings’ differentiation
from traditional low-cost carriers. “This latest top ranking confirms our path
as a value airline for Europe,” said Clemens Strauss, Head of Customer
Experience, Product and Marketing at Eurowings. “We offer competitive prices
without compromising on service and quality. The award is also a big thank you
to our 5,500 employees who ensure every day that our customers enjoy flying
with Eurowings.”
Recognition from customers
With more than 20 million passengers each year,
Eurowings positions itself as more than a classic low-cost airline. The results
of the German Customer Award reinforce its ambition to combine fair pricing
with reliable service standards and a positive travel experience, as perceived
directly by customers themselves.
