Condor is celebrating its 70th anniversary in 2026
with a large-scale promotional campaign, offering 70,000 flight tickets for
under €70 per person and segment. The tickets are available on selected routes
across the airline’s network and can be booked until 25 March 2026 for travel
through 30 April 2027.
Discounted fares across Europe and city network
The anniversary promotion applies to selected short-
and medium-haul routes, including both classic holiday destinations and newer
city connections.
Popular leisure destinations such as the Balearic
Islands, Italy and Greece are included, alongside city routes such as London.
The offer is available from multiple departure points within the Condor
network, providing broad access to the discounted fares.
Anniversary as a shared milestone with travellers
Peter Gerber, CEO of Condor, said: “For 70 years,
Condor has brought travelers to their favorite places around the globe and
connected continents, cultures, and people. Millions of travelers have made
this story possible and have accompanied Condor over the decades. Our 70th
anniversary is therefore above all an opportunity to celebrate together with
our guests and to say thank you.”
From tourist airline to international network carrier
Condor’s history began in 1956 with its first tourist
flights. On 29 March 1956, the airline operated its inaugural flight on a
Vickers Viking aircraft to the ‘Holy Land’ and Egypt.
Within its first year, destinations such as Mallorca
and Tenerife were added to the schedule, both of which remain among the
airline’s most popular routes today.
Over the decades, Condor has evolved into an
international network airline connecting European cities with long-haul
destinations in Africa, Asia and North America. The airline operates a uniform
Airbus fleet and has modernised its long-haul offering with a renewed Business
Class product.
Bookings open for limited-time anniversary offer
The anniversary fares are available now via Condor’s
booking channels. The promotion is valid for a limited time and subject to
availability.
